Join Me:
Many leadership training courses teach skills, processes, and tools.
Transformational leadership is about knowing yourself as a person and a leader. It is about being willing to look deeply at ourselves first. It involves considering how our own projections and survival mechanisms may be influencing our circumstances.
In this 12 week mastermind group, we will explore several topics, while also staying present to and adapting to what is up in the moment for each participant. You’ll have an opportunity to practice leadership in the group itself. This is less about learning new information and more about putting into practice the skills that will take your leadership to the next level.
We will meet for 2 hours every other week. This every-other-week cadence will give you time to practice skills learned with your team.
In each session, we will have a focus topic, discussion, and workshop activities along with time for coaching from me. Membership is limited to 8 participants, and early activities are designed in order to create a container where participants get to know each other on a deep level.
Weekly Topics:
Mind and body awareness in challenging situations.
Building trust with your team members, peers, and managers in order to create high performing teams.
Giving and receiving feedback.
Triggers and survival mechanisms – understanding and managing them as we lead.
Managing up and out.
Leading others using a coaching approach.
About Me:
For 30 years, I’ve been building companies and consulting to companies from small consulting firms to Fortune 500 companies. I founded 4 professional services firms and a SaaS company and I’ve had 2 successful exits. I’ve had some amazing mentors who have taught me key skills for communicating and navigating complex interpersonal relationships with clients and my own teams.
Throughout most of my career, I focused on improving business processes and increasing efficiencies via software projects.
7 years ago, I realized that all the process improvements in the world can’t fix a broken team. And that teams are made up of people.
I realized that people are complex, but that we also share a common set of needs. We need to be seen and heard, we need to feel valued and have a sense of purpose, and we need community.
In 2016 I began to study people and leadership and founded a group leadership coaching program called Project Elevate with a mission to elevate managers to true leaders.
I am now an executive and leadership coach and trainer, providing one-on-one coaching to CEOs and Directors as well as workshops with teams.
